How To Stay Awake During A Long Drive At Night

Your 2016 years earning plan: STEP -BY-STEP

It is easy for the monotony of the road to make you feel tired when you are driving, but this is never the case more fully than when you are taking a long drive at night, as you are already likely to be tired, and the monotony of the road is likely to compound this tiredness until you are putting yourself at serious risk. Even though you will be safest taking long drives during the times of day when you feel most awake, this is not always a possibility, so it is important for you to make sure you are paying attention to a few specific things you can do to make yourself more awake when you are taking a long drive.

Caffeine and snacks: Of course, caffeine (or energy drinks) is a great way to keep yourself awake at any time, but this is especially the case when you are driving at night and your body is wanting to shut down; snacks are also a great way to make things easier on yourself, as the constant activity of munching on the food will keep you awake by giving you something to do.

Music and air: Listening to (and singing to!) music will also go a long way in keeping you occupied - which translates into "keeping you awake" - and when you vary what you are doing with the air (transforming your car from hot to cold; rolling the windows down for a bit then putting them back up), you will also help to keep yourself awake.

Breaks and rest: Taking frequent breaks from driving - simply to get out and stretch your legs - and even taking short naps if you get really tired (which you can do safely in busy, well-lit travel stop parking lots) are both things that will keep you more awake during a long nighttime drive.

By keeping these tips in mind, it will be easy for you to keep yourself awake - which will benefit you, and will also benefit the other drivers with whom you are sharing the road.

Exploring Three Fun Games To Play In The Pool

Your 2016 years earning plan: STEP -BY-STEP

You know how much fun a pool can be if you have one of your own - but you are also probably aware of the fact that it can sometimes be difficult to figure out exactly what you should do in the pool, as there is only so much time you can spend having fun by just catching rays or swimming laps! If you hope to get the most out of your pool, it will be important that you have some games that you enjoy playing in the pool, and while there are certainly lots of different possibilities when it comes to games (and while you can even make up your own if you would like to!), here are a few games that are always great to try.

Diving games: There are plenty of different diving games you can consider trying, ranging from simple ones like taking turns with someone else trying to do spectacular dives, or having one person dive into the water while the other person throws rings into the shallow end that the diver has to swim down and get before coming up for breath!

Basketball: Even though basketball is a bit more structured than "diving games," there are still plenty of creative things you can do if you have a basketball goal alongside your pool, as games can range from HORSE to 21 to two on two or three on three basketball if you have enough people!

Raft games: There are lots of different creative games you will be able to come up with on the rafts that you have for your pool; you can play tag, with everyone stuck on rafts, or you can battle, to where everyone has to try and knock others off rafts, or you can play games where you work together and have to try and throw something from raft to raft without allowing it to fall in the pool!

There are no rules when it comes to having fun in the pool; you simply need to be willing to be creative, and be willing to have a bit of fun, and you will really start getting the most out of your pool!

Tips For Approaching A Road Trip With A Plan

Your 2016 years earning plan: STEP -BY-STEP

People will take a cross-country trip (or at least a long trip!) in their vehicle for plenty of different reasons, ranging from traveling a long distance out of necessity, taking a road trip for adventure, or even just hopping in the car and trying to be spontaneous, seeing where the road leads. And it seems like there are just as many different approaches to taking long driving trips in the car as there are reasons for taking such trips - but while most of these approaches are certainly fine, and while the spontaneity of a road trip is undeniably part of the appeal, there are still a few things in the way of "plan" that will help every road trip go more smoothly.

Before you do anything else in trying to approach a road trip with a plan, you will want to make sure you have your course mapped out; even though you will want to be spontaneous on your road trip, you will also probably be heading out with a specific destination in mind, and you will be much more likely to reach this destination if your course is mapped out in advance!

In addition to mapping out your course, you should have an idea of where you plan to stop at the end of each day; of course, this provides for even more flexibility than mapping out your course, as you can adjust the place where you will end your day as you go along, this is important for giving you a target point you will want to reach each day.

And lastly, it will be helpful for you to know what you are most likely to come across while driving during the day - and this goes for places you might want to eat, sights you might like to see, and even weather you might encounter, as this will give you a framework from which to work as you enter your day.

Even as you pay attention to all these things, you will be able to be as spontaneous as you want to be on a road trip, but these things will help you to maximize your chances of success, and will give you a nice safety net if you get tired of spontaneity and want to make sure you reach your destination at last!
