A Music Player That Can Hold All Your Songs

The truth about making money from home

The ability to play music is held by many cell phones that people own. This is a very well received feature of new phones, but it can have many draw backs. These phones don't offer the large amount of storage space that people need in many cases. A 16 gigabyte phone will have a hard time storing even the most timid of music collections. Music is still best stored on a MP3 player that is completely devoted to playing and storing this music. The X7 MP3 player from COWON is made for this reason.

Other MP3 players are not in the same league as the COWON X7 as far as features go. One of its most striking features is its screen. The screen is 4.3 inches large and can display up to 16 million colors. Not only does this screen allow you to view the music you are playing, but it allows you to view other media in high resolution. If you want to show your friends and family pictures while on the go you can do that too by storing them on the player. Simply use the interactive touch screen to flick through them.

You can watch movies and videos from anywhere if you store them on your X7. The screen will present these movies in a very clear format. An output will also allow you to view the videos on an external monitor like a TV. It is a composite output that most TVs still use today. The battery is extremely long lasting and allows you to watch up to 10 hours of video. One charge is also enough for you to listen to 103 hours of music.

You won't have to worry about the battery on your phone being drained anymore. Replacing all of your electronic devices with a phone isn't realistic given their lack of quality battery power. The COWON X7 MP3 player is the way to go if you listen to a lot of music or watch a lot of video. It will let you use your phone for texting and calls while still carrying all of your entertainment with you anywhere you go!

Tips For Getting Along With Others On Your Project Team

The truth about making money from home

If you are on a project team at work, nothing can be worse than finding that you do not get along with the others. Of course, it is vital that you get along with these people as best you can - especially if the project will be lasting for a while and you will be stuck with these people every day. Even though you may not like everyone on the team, you can follow these tips to get along with even the worst of them!

You need to recognize, first and foremost, that it is not always important for you to prove that you are right. Even though this can be difficult if you find yourself on a team with an insufferable "know it all" who is nevertheless usually wrong, it is still important to adhere to this principle. Oftentimes, the majority of the members on a project team will be absolutely wrong about something, but this "something" will be something that has no real bearing on the project; you will begin to notice this as you realize that you do not always have to prove you are right. In this way, you need to learn to correct the rest of your team only when it is absolutely necessary - in essence, picking your battles.

Picking your battles also extends to other situations, such as those conflicts and frustrations you will encounter and experience with the way others on your team work. In the end, it is better - for you, and for the project - that you only assert your strong opinions when it is necessary. It will pay off in the long run to always be "the bigger man" - as difficult as this can be when you are around these same people every day!

If others on your project team try to take credit for work that they did not actually do, being the "bigger man" extends to this as well. In the end, your superiors will come to realize who did the work and who did nothing!

Being on a project team is supposed to be all about completing the project well, but it often turns out to also be about surviving to the end! When you follow these tips, you will be able to survive and even thrive to the end of the project.

Truth or hype?

http://truthorhypetv.com/smartsystem?id=piano

When I first got started online - I had no
clue who to trust, or what I had to do in
order to make my first dollar online.

I felt lost.

Like a baby bird learning to spread his
wings for the first time - I took the leap
and tried to fly.

But, I didn't fly.

I ended up falling instead.

And as hard as I tried to flap my little
wings so I could fly - I kept falling...

Down...

Down...

Down I went...

And on my way down, I watched as
money was pouring out of my bank
faster than it was coming in!

"Why was this happening?" I said
to myself on the long way down...

The big bird  who sat at the top of
the mountain said...

"Making money is easy!"

"All you have to do is spread your
wings and fly!"

I could not figure out what was I
doing wrong.

Why wasn't his advice working?

Was he really telling the truth?

Or was he full of hype?

*SMACK*

That's when it happened...

I hit the ground.

And as I hit the ground, "IT" hit
me.

The big bird sitting at the top of
the mountain was full of hype..

"How could I be so foolish to
believe him?"

I said aloud to myself as I laid
on the ground trying to come
to terms with what happened.

"You're not the only one" said
a voice from what seemed to
be only a few feet away...

"Don't worry though."

"This isn't going to happen to
you again" they continued to
say...

And when I responded...

"How can you be so sure?"

They showed me this:

Making A Tropical Vacation Feel Longer

The truth about making money from home

When you take a tropical vacation, one of the big benefits is the opportunity it affords you to be away from all the rigors of life while you completely unwind and relax; at the same time, however, the drawback to a tropical vacation is the fact that all of this down time can end up making the week feel like it goes by in a flash, launching you back into your regular life much sooner than you would have wanted! While this is part of the tradeoff of taking a tropical vacation, it is also a problem that can be marginalized; you simply need to know the right approach to take to your tropical vacation, and you will be able to make it feel like it lasts much longer!

Multiple locations: One of the main reasons tropical vacations often seem like they disappear so quickly is because you are simply relaxing on the beach the whole week, which creates for you no memories that are concrete or lasting. One way to counter this is by staying at multiple locations during your vacation; if you are visiting an island, consider splitting the week between two different sides, or if you are visiting a country, divide your time between two or three different beaches.

Participate: Another way to create concrete memories is by making sure you participate in the activities that are offered at the the resort you are staying at, or in the town that is nearby. Rather than simply sitting on the beach all day doing nothing, play some games, see some sights, and do what you can to create memories that will outlast your trip!

Meet people: And of course, one of the best ways of all to extend the time of your tropical vacation is to get to know other people who are staying at the same place where you are staying; as you strike up friendships with others around you, you will be able to share the experience with more people, and in this way you will stretch out your vacation time!

Could the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V be the Camera for You?

The truth about making money from home

Check out the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V!  This camera is Sony's answer to Nikon and Canon cameras at the same price point. You can purchase a Sony Cybershot at the reasonable price of $220. Users and professionals have both given this camera two thumbs up so the HX5V is well worth taking a closer look at.

Both Sony's DSLR camera and their camcorders have a G lens and the HX5V also has this lens in common. This point and shoot camera offers a 10X optical zoom (this is about a 25mm equivalent).  This is not too bad for a point and shoot camera. The Cybershot offers both a 10.2 megapixel capability along with a backside illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor.  Ultimately you will find the backlit sensor will take better low light pictures over all. To assist this camera in taking spectacular features, the Cybershot also has bother optical and digital image stabilization.

You have a lot of manual control with this camera. If you like setting your own ISO, you will enjoy the range this camera provides between 125 to 1600. You can also choose from many different white balance settings to help control your picture quality.

Bright days are always an issue for cameras with an LCD display.  The Cybershot tries hard to deal with this on their 3 inch display by making it an antireflective surface. This screen is a very nice size to help you compose your photographs and also to view any movies you may wish to create. The camera has a dedicated video capture button, which is convenient when you want to catch a special moment on video without having to go through a ton of menus. The videos are recorded at 1080i and are saved onto the camera in a MP4 format. One really nice feature of the Cybershot is it offers HDMI outputs so you can plug your camera directly into a television for viewing of media.

Do you like panoramic pictures?  The Cybershot has created a sweep panoramic option that takes breathtaking pictures. If you like sharing exactly where your photograph was taken, you can tag your photos using the cameras built in GPS function.

This is a nice camera for the price and very competitive with other cameras that are at the same price. This camera has even more features then listed in this short review making it jam packed for the price. Both users and professional reivews have given this camera great reviews.

Visiting Chicago's Shedd Aquarium

The truth about making money from home

If you are planning a trip to Chicago this summer, one of the areas you are sure to spend time around is Lake Shore Drive, which runs along the waterfront of Lake Michigan - and as you are spending time on Lake Shore Drive, one of the places you will probably stop by is the museum district. Make sure you budget in some time to spend at Shedd Aquarium, which is one of the most popular (and most highly-regarded) aquariums in the world while you are in the museum district!

In order to get the full effect of Shedd Aquarium, you should make sure you budget at least half a day to enjoy it, and if you have children, you might want to have a little more time than this, as they are likely going to want to linger in a number of different areas.

Shedd Aquarium has a wonderful program and map that you can pick up at the front desk when you visit, which lists all the different areas of the aquarium as well as all the "talks" you can plan to attend during your time at the aquarium. The experts who conduct the "talks" at Shedd Aquarium are a treasure trove of knowledge, and not only will you learn a lot by listening to them, but you are sure to also come up with plenty of questions - and the experts are sure to be able to answer these questions!

To go along with its amazing center aquarium - which is full of an incredible assortment of fish - Shedd Aquarium has a world-renowned shark display, several beautiful beluga whales, and a great collection of dolphins (the latter two of whom you can see from both above the water and from a glass front under the water!).

If you are an aquarium lover, Shedd is sure to give you everything you could want in an aquarium; but even if you are not an aquarium lover, you will certainly have a great time visiting Shedd and seeing all the beautiful animals.

Nikon CoolPix S8100

The truth about making money from home

Nikon's CoolPix S8100 is definately an amazing compact mega zoom camera. The S8100 was an upgrade to Nikon's S8000. Don't let the drop from 14 megapixels to 12.1 fool you, the camera is definiately a step up. The cameras both share the 10x optical zoom. With a lens equivalent to a 30-300 mm lens.

A new upgrade to the S8100 is the BSI (backside illuminated) CMOS sensor. The BSI CMOS sensor allows for more light to enter the diode, increasing the performance in low light settings. Making the S8100 a great camera for indoor photos. The camera responsiveness and shutter speed are also remarkably fast.

The camera is sized just right as a compact camera measuring in at 4.1 x 2.4 x 1.2 inches. This makes it small enough to easily fit into a shirt pocket but large enough that it is easy to hold in your hand. It boasts a sharp / clear 3 inch LCD display on the back. The controls are easy to use and are simple to understand. Common with most telespcoping lenses, the S8100 shows a small amount of distortion when reaching it's maximum zoom level.

You can take very clear pictures because the camera uses two different strategies to deal with stabilization. It uses both digital and optical stabilization. The camera also shows off an impressive set of macro settings. It was amazing to see how close you could get and the fine level of detail picked up by the camera. The S8100 offers a full range of ISO settings. Offering both auto settings and manual setups from 160 to 3200.  The S8100 is reported to be best at an ISO of 200 though.

You can take both JPEG and .MOV videos. The pictures are recorded at 4000 x 3000 pixels, while video is recorded at 1080p at 30 frames a second. The video option is impressive but not quite to the same caliber as a dedicated video camera.

The Nikon CoolPix S8100 is at an outstanding price point of about $250 to $300. For the price this camera makes an great buy. Both professionals and amatures are giving the CoolPix S8100 their praise.

Making Good Money As A Barista

The truth about making money from home

More than likely, you are being paid a basic wage if you are working as a barista, but there is also the opportunity for you to make some money on tips - and while you might be able to get by off of the basic wage, it is always nice to be able to pull in a little extra money. While some of the factors that will determine the tips you receive (such as where you work, how hard your coworkers work, et cetera) will be outside of your control, there is still a variety of things that you will be able to control on your own.

One of the best ways to make money as a barista is to smile a lot; it can get tiring to smile all day long, but you need to remember that each new customer has no clue if you were smiling earlier; they only know what they see during their time in the store!

Another great way for you to make money in tips is by being able to answer questions; even though most customers will be content to purchase their drink and leave, you will certainly run into those customers who want to know about a number of different menu items before they make a choice, and it will certainly help you if you are able to help them!

And of course, keep in mind the fact that people are unlikely to tip you if they cannot see the tip jar; while the place where you work might have rules about what you can do to make the tip jar noticeable, you should take advantage of everything that is allowed - putting the tip jar in a location where people will see it, and adorning it in such a way that it stands out.

When you follow these tips, you will be taking care of the things that are in your control to take care of - and in this way, you will increase the chances of getting the tips you are hoping to get!

Using Pool Games To Enjoy Your Pool

The truth about making money from home

A pool can be a lot of fun during the summer, but it can also be easy to run out of things to do in the pool (after all, "lounging by the pool and getting sun" or "exercising in the pool" can only be taken so far!). One great way to make sure you (and your family, and your guests) get the most out of your pool during the summer is to use the pool to play some games; if you are thinking you might need some new "pool games," here are a few to keep in mind.

image

Marco Polo: Marco Polo is the old standby of pool games, as it can be played in any pool, with any number of people; one person is "it" in Marco Polo, and the game is played much like tag - except that the person assigned to catch the others must keep their eyes closed at all times! With their eyes closed, the person calls out "Marco," and everyone else in the pool calls out "Polo"; the person who is "it" must use the "Polo" calls of others to try to figure out where they are, and to tag them!

Volleyball: A pool volleyball set can be one of the greatest investments you can make for your pool, as you can set up a game with as few as two people and as many as 10 or 12; set up the net on a hot afternoon, split everyone into teams, and enjoy!

Basketball: Just like pool volleyball, pool basketball can be played with a varying number of people; the investment in a pool basketball goal will be well worth it, as you, your family, and your friends are sure to get lots of use out of it!

Use your creativity: Finally, realize that you can turn just about any object or idea into the centerpiece for a pool game; collect the pool toys you have in your pool shed, and come up with a game that will be easy to learn and easy to play; when you do this, everyone is sure to have a great time!

Tips For Finding Items You Can Buy And Sell For More Money

The truth about making money from home

If you are hoping to make some extra money - or even if you are wanting to find a creative way to eventually make a full-time living - finding items that you can buy and sell for profit is one idea to consider; with the great reach provided to each and every person by the Internet, it is quite easy these days to find a way to sell the things you have, which means that the main thing you will need to figure out is exactly where you should go to buy these things that you can resell.

One great place to look for things that you can resell for more money - and perhaps the best place of all for really excellent deals - is garage sales; start going out on Saturday mornings and perusing the items for sale at different garage sales, and you will be surprised at how much good stuff you find - but make sure that you also go in with an idea of what it is you are looking for, lest you end up with a whole bunch of stuff you do not really need, and are not really able to sell!

Estate sales are along the same lines as garage sales, and while you will not find nearly the deals at estate sales that you would at garage sales, you will be able to find some really top-notch stuff; always keep your eyes open for different estate sales that are going to be taking place near where you live, and look for items that you feel will be easy to sell (and easy to ship!) so that you can quickly turn a profit.

And even though items at antique stores will run you more money than you would have to pay at a garage sale or an estate sale, you can also find some real treasures here when shopping correctly; visit antique stores and get a sense for what they are carrying, then head online to find which of these you might be able to sell for more money on your own.

People often sell things at a low price simply because they need to get rid of these things - and this gives you a great opportunity to swoop in and buy this item yourself, before turning around and selling it for a profit!

Do I Have Insomnia?

The truth about making money from home

While cinema and even literature have over-dramatized the idea of insomnia over the years, many people just plain want to know: Do I have insomnia myself? Because of the heavy-handed influence of art on people's perceptions, many believe that insomnia is some sort of terrible sickness or disease. Insomnia, however, is actually not a sickness or disease at all - it is simply a symptom or sign of other diseases.

Insomnia, put as plainly as possible, is when someone has difficulty falling asleep or remaining asleep. Of course, insomnia can vary greatly in severity, ranging from being a minor nuisance to preventing sleep altogether; this is important to keep in mind when deciding whether or not you would like to seek medical attention. For instance, you might have a hard time falling asleep sometimes, but if you are able to sleep soundly once sleep finds you, it might not be worth the time, effort, and hassle of a visit to the doctor. It might be something as simple as stress or uptightness that is causing this delay of sleep, or "light insomnia." The insomnia will go away once you solve the stress itself.

On the other hand, you might be dealing with a severe case of insomnia, where you have a hard time sleeping through the night (or are completely unable to sleep) even when your body is tired and totally sleep-deprived. If this is the case for you, where you cannot sleep through the night, or cannot fall asleep at all, even when you are sleep-deprived, consider seeking medical assistance.

The body's mind and muscles are the areas most likely to be in disarray when insomnia is a present symptom. Medication is another common cause of insomnia.

If you have insomnia, it can be kept at bay with any number of prescribed drugs; or, you can remove the insomnia entirely by curing the disorder that is causing the insomnia. If you are suffering from a severe case of insomnia, visit a medical doctor - they can help you find out the disease causing this insomnia, and in this way they can help you solve the problem.
