Use Your Balcony to Grow Fresh Produce

All in one profit - New make money online system!

Everyone can grow fresh vegetables themselves even if you only have a small deck or patio. Not many people can argue that fresh picked vine-ripened tomatoes are incredibly delicious. Earthbox has created a container system that is outstanding for growing quility produce in a small area. Plus it has wheels so it can be easily maneuvered to where ever you wish it to be.

The dimentions of the Earthbox are 30 x 13.5 x 12 inches. It holds 2.5 cubic feet of dirt. When you get your Earthbox the first thing you will need to do is place the aeration grate on the bottom of the box. This gives the water area to sit for the self-watering. Once you have this in place, you need to put the watering tube in. Last, fill your Earthbox with a quality top soil.

Earthbox has claimed that their boxes will increase the yield of the plants that are grown in these over traditional gardens.  The bonus is that you also use less water, less fertilizer, and less room then a traditional garden also. The bottom resevoir allows the perfect amount of water to be obtained by the plants and soil.  You just need to make sure to fill it up every couple of days.

Some plants that really work well with the Earthbox are tomatoes. Tomato plants are a hot weather plant, so this box is ideal for them. You can usually fit two tomato plants in a box. Plan on having to support the tomato plants because they will grow very large because they have ideal growing conditions with this box.

Melons, squash, and cucumber also all work very well in the Earthbox. Plan on making lots of room for these vining plants. If you are lacking room you could consider making a trellis system to let the vines grow up. You will need to support melons and squash if you use a trellis though.

If you would like to grow your own fresh herbs, lettuce, or many other fresh produce you can very easliy do it with the Earthbox. It is just as easy as setting it up, planting your seeds, and making sure it is watered every other day. Give it a try and have your own fresh produce at your fingertips.
